About the Author

Dr. Ronald G. Wells is the founder and managing associate of Comprehensive Performance Systems (CPS) of Lebanon, Indiana. CPS is a consulting firm providing services in human resource design, employee relations, and supervisor/management development.

Dr. Wells's experience includes work in the areas of wage and salary administration, organization design and staffing, labor relations, and the design of productivity improvement and performance appraisal systems. He has designed highly acclaimed seminars on a variety of management topics and lectures regularly on several of these topics at major universities across the country.

Before turning full time to consulting, Dr. Wells served the University of Kansas for four years as Director of Professional Development Programs for business and industry. He is a member of the American Society for Personnel Administration and the American Society for Training and Development. He currently serves as Director of ASTD's Region Five, representing Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
